Job Overview

Tata Elxsi is seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer – DevOps with a strong background in CI/CD, containerization, Linux systems, and cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in managing scalable platforms, automating deployments, and maintaining infrastructure for performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Nexus.

• Administer Linux systems (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL) and optimize system performance.

• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.

• Write automation scripts in Shell, Python, or Go; work with Ansible and Terraform for orchestration.

• Monitor infrastructure health using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, Splunk, or ELK Stack.

• Work with AWS Cloud Services and cloud architecture tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and OpenStack.

• Configure and manage load balancers (e.g., F5 Big-IP) and optimize service traffic flow.

• Maintain infrastructure runbooks, system documentation, and traffic diagrams for microservices.

• Handle database operations and deployments with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Couchbase, etc.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering.

• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Python/Shell scripting.

• Solid knowledge of Linux system administration and cloud platforms (especially AWS).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).

• Practical experience with database deployment and managing SQL/NoSQL systems.

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation, scripting, and orchestration.

• AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner or higher) is preferred.
