Job Overview

FIS Global is seeking a skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic fintech development team. This role involves developing secure, high-performing applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React, with a focus on delivering robust web solutions in the banking and payments domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and React.

• Implement modern UI/UX features with responsive design.

• Work on backend development, database integration, and server-side performance optimization.

• Manage and troubleshoot applications connected to Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL databases.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.

• Support biometric or multi-factor authentication features (a plus).

• Analyze market and tech trends to continuously improve application architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on experience in full stack web development.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of backend services and database systems like Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.

• Background in the banking/payments domain preferred.

• Experience in biometric or multi-factor authentication is an added advantage.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.

• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience in business process analysis and documenting improvement strategies.

• Exposure to payment systems, banking protocols, or fintech platforms.

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and modern DevOps environments.
